I was new to the WeWork concept this year, but can attribute their best-in-class amenities, friendliest staff members, and the chance to meet new colleagues to be the most pleasurable aspects of 33 Bloor. Not to mention, the dedication each community manager provides for all members is evident. There are so many opportunities and points of collision within the community, that it makes a traditional work space seem so antiquated. Any time our company has had a request, the 33 Bloor staff are prompt and accommodating to our needs. Specifically, Marie-France, Jessica, and Emma go above and beyond to create exciting community events that are NOT lame. Just about everyone wants to be involved in their weekly team building activities. They also do a phenomenal job of bringing in outside companies to 33 Bloor for networking opportunities, exercise classes, and experiential food tastings. Not to mention, they are warm and helpful when we have visitors coming in from international offices, or weekly meetings. I could go on and on, but you'll just have to come see for yourself.

I think it is well suited to certain types of work (technical collaborative work, IT, etc) and less to sales. But maybe that is just my style. I don't think the one jar of fruit water and small washroom for each floor is that great of a selling feature.

Our company has been a WeWork member since the first Toronto location opened last year. Right away we felt like this was the perfect place for us or any startup company to call home base. The staff is absolutely amazing, providing us with everything we need to help keep our company business smoothly. They consistently go out of their way to make sure you're always feeling happy and motivated! The locations are perfect! When the second location opened on Bloor, we easily made the transition to the new office that was even more convenient for us. Being able to grow into a new larger (or smaller) space within WeWork, without all the normal hassles of dealing with a tradition long term lease, gave us the confidence that WeWork was the right place for us. The month to month flexibility is just one of the many things that gave us some added confidence when choosing WeWork. The amenities and facilities at both locations are simply top notch! Every single client we have brought in for meetings has been really impressed. With the beautiful private boardrooms that are easily booked through the WeWork App, literally everything you need is at your fingertips. And, the events are always a great time and an awesome opportunity to network with potential clients and other WeWork members. Our clients always love the complimentary beers on tap too!!! Bottom line, if you are looking for a office space in Toronto for your business to plant some roots and grow, look no further than WeWork.

OK location from an access and work perspective, but WeWork really has to figure out how to fix the bathrooms (smelly and not enough of them) and sluggish network performance (slow and drop-outs during the day) and kitchen issues (not enough microwaves or fridge space.) EDIT: after further experience, amended to include more downsides unfortunately. Poor HVAC (hot and cold spots; booths unbearable; meeting rooms too hot and unventilated); barren hard surfaces everywhere (floors, ceiling, walls, doors, windows) mean voice conferencing is basically impossible due to bad acoustics. In turn, phone systems in meeting rooms are basically unusable. EDIT: today 9AM, less than 12 hours after I posted the above about HVAC/ventilation, there are building techs in my office checking airflow/etc. Either the most responsive company ever, or a big coincidence (but shows they are aware of the problem and proactively addressing it!) At least they finally corrected a main issue and added whiteboards to many of the meeting rooms that were lacking.
