Miami Co-Working
People outside of South Florida might find it a surprise, but people in Miami work hard, and they know how to hustle. And while the sun and sand outside might be inviting, if you have a project to hammer out or a new business endeavor to launch, then you can find tons of co-working spaces in Miami where you can make it happen.
What Are My options?
If you haven’t checked one out yet, now’s the time to take a look at the 5 great WeWork locations in Miami. These include 2 on south Beach, 2 in the city center, and a 5th location off Ponce De Leon Ave.
At every location you can opt for either a desk or an office, so you can carve out your own Miami co-working space just the way you see fit. With these Miami co-working locations you can either rent out a dedicated desk or a shared location and if you’re looking to get a business going, you can also rent out a private office in most of their locations. The best part is that it's easy to customize it according to your needs and what you’re looking for.
Quest Workspaces runs 8 co-working spaces in South Florida, including in Miami, Coral Gables, and West Palm Beach.
You can also find a spot at “The Lab” a new co-working space at a 10,000 square foot warehouse in Wynwood.
What Are the Prices Like?
What you end up paying for your Miami co-working space depends a lot on where, and what you’re looking for.
Take for instance WeWork. A shared “hot desk” at the Lincoln Road location costs $220 per month, while at the Brickell City Centre location it’ll cost you $400 per month. If you decide to go with a private office at the Brickell City Centre location you’ll pay at least $700 a month per person, while at Lincoln Road the cost is only $500 and at the Security Building location it’s only $600.
At Quest, you can pay $299 per month for a “virtual office” that includes such features as phone receptionist services, administrative assistance, and access to meeting rooms and day offices. You’ll also be able to have calls answered in your company name. There are also reserved workspaces starting at $499 per month and meeting rooms for $25 per hour, all of which can be great for a small company.
At the Lab, there are four separate payment levels—Virtual Lab for $150 per month, Lab Flex (shared desk) for $300 per month, Lab Desk (dedicated desk) for $525 per month, and Lab Office for $1,200 per month. With the virtual lab you also get two days a month to work from a flex desk.
